Vermont Rises, a new 501(c)(4), was incorporated in June 2025. Vermont Rises was set up to be a true umbrella organization for activism in Vermont, fostering connections, amplifying all of our voices, and fundraising for, and offering financial support to, state activist groups.
MISSION STATEMENT:
Vermont Rises is a nonprofit advocacy organization dedicated to advancing equity, resilience, and justice in our communities. We empower local leaders and grassroots movements across Vermont to rise together by fostering connection, amplifying community voices, and investing in sustainable action. Through grassroots organizing, public education, and policy advocacy, we fill the gaps left by unjust policies and inadequate systems - ensuring no neighbor is left behind and everyone has a voice in shaping their future.
